Christmas is just around the corner. This is the time to get the kids involved in helping with the decorating. These ball ornament Christmas tree crafts are just what you need. Come take a look.
Star
Looking for some holiday crafts to keep the kids busy? These ball ornaments Christmas tree crafts would be great for home decorations. With just a few common craft supplies and a little bit of time, kids of all ages can do these crafts. Have fun creating these fun crafts.

Materials Needed:
• Star cutout
• Crayons, markers or glow-in-the-dark paint.
• Scissors.
• Glitter, gluesticks, and styrofoam container (or other type of container) OR
• Glitter glue
• Sticker stars (optional)
• Tissue paper (optional)
• Blue or Black Construction paper or cardboard (Optional)
Method:
• Color or paint star.

• If using tissue paper, you can either glue on little tissue paper squares, or cut 2" squares, and scrunch them up.
• Then glue the balls onto the star (place glue on page) or apply glitter glue or apply glue
then pour glitter over picture. (Pick up paper and pour excess into a styrofoam plate.
• Cut out star and glue to blue or black construction paper (optional).
Nativity Wreath
Materials Needed:
• 6" Artificial evergreen wreath
• Miniature Nativity figures
• Tacky glue
• Gold ribbon
• Scissors
Method:
• Let the child glue some of the Nativity figures on to the wreath.
• Let dry.
• Let the child glue the other figures on the back side of the wreath.
• Let dry.
• Cut a piece of ribbon. Put through the middle of the wreath and tie a knot.
• Hang and enjoy.
Puffy Sheep for Nativity Scene
Materials Needed:
• 2 inch white Pom-pom
• 3/4 inch white Pom-pom
• 1/2 inch black Pom-pom (or pink for a white sheep)
• 2 black seed Beads
• Black felt scraps for ears (or white for a white sheep)
• Black pipe cleaner (or white for a white sheep)
• 1/4 inch red Ribbon
• 1 small Bell
Method:
• Glue 3/4" white pom-pom (head) to 2" white pom-pom (body).
• Cut two 2" sections of black pipe cleaner. Bend into a letter U. These are the legs. Glue
center of U into the center of the 2" pom-pom. One towards the head and the other towards the tail.
• Glue 1/2" black pom-pom (nose) onto front of head.
• Cut small leaf shaped ears from black felt and glue on sides of head.
• Glue black seed beads for eyes.
• Tie red ribbon around neck and attach bell to ribbon at the throat area.

Christmas Trees
If your are looking for something fun to do this holiday season, why not try out some crafts. These candy Christmas crafts kids are perfect for your day-care or home school project. Don't forget to buy extra candy for the little mistakes. Note: parental supervision is going to be needed, because the candy is a bit too tempting for most kids and the crafts will never actually make it to creation!

Materials Needed:
• Green chenille stem
• Chocolate candy (Reese's Cup, Dove mini bar, etc.)
• Pencil, optional
• Yellow construction paper, optional
• Scissors, optional
• Glue, optional
Method:
• Wind the chenille stem around a pencil or your finger.
• Bend one end down and press firmly into chocolate candy.
• Position chenille stem to stand upright. Spread "branches" if desired.
• Optional: Cut out a little star out of construction paper and glue to the top of the tree.
Reindeer Ornaments
Materials Needed:
• Candy Cane
• Ribbon - 8 inch piece
• 2 wiggle eyes
• Red or Brown pompom (very small)
• 2 (18") pipe cleaners
• Tacky glue
Method:
• Leave the wrapping on the candy cane (so the kids can eat it later).
• Glue eyes on rounded face of the candy cane.
• Glue red pompom on the face for a nose.
• Tie ribbon into a bow on the straight part of the candy cane.
• Cut one of the pipe cleaners in half.
• Use the full pipe cleaner and wrap it around the crook of the candy cane (both sides equal) to make the beginning part of the antlers.
• Use 1 of the cut pipe cleaner pieces to wrap around the left antler and repeat it on the right side.
• Manipulate the pipe cleaners to look like antlers.
Candy Race Car
Materials Needed:
• Low temp hot glue gun
• Ribbons or yarn for hanging
• 1 large package of gum (1 1/4" x 3" x 3/4")
• 4 round wrapped candies
• 1 shiny wrapped candy about 1 1/4" long
• 2 mini chocolate bars (1 1/2" x 1" x 3/8")
Method:
• Glue the shiny candy to the front of the gum pack as a bumper. Wrap the extra wrapping around the edges of the pack.
• Glue the 4 round candies on as wheels.
• Glue the 1 candy bar on the back half of the car, allowing it to stick off the back by a 1/4 of an inch or so.
• Glue the other candy bar across the back of that candy bar, having at least 1/2 of it
extending past the edge of the lower candy bar.
